Everyone in the world would love to visit the city of London, England at least once in their lives. The trouble is saving enough money to fly in and visit. Buckingham Palace – The public aren’t allowed inside of the palace, but it’s a sight to behold. Grand and magnificent, you can get as close as the gates, and even watch the procession as they change the guard if you get there at the right time.

Hampton Court Palace – Formerly the home of the Tudor royals, the palace has barely changed inside since that era thanks to preservation and restoration. In fact, you can go inside and visit to see for yourself the grandeur Henry VIII and Elizabeth I lived in, and their way of life. The gardens in particular are spectacular.
The Tower of London – One of the most iconic and ancient buildings in London, it was built by William the Conqueror in 1078, and was lived in up until the Tudor period, where it gained a reputation as a forbidding and grim prison. It is also the home of the Crown Jewels. As such it is probably the most popular tourist attraction in the city.
The Globe Theatre – Sadly the original Globe was damaged over the years, but it was restored more or less in the same spot it originally stood, to look exactly as it would have back in the days when Shakespeare wrote and performed his plays. You can even watch a Shakespearean play there too, to feel firmly involved in history.
