Hampton Court Palace – Formerly the home of the Tudor royals, the palace has barely changed inside since that era thanks to preservation and restoration. The Tower of London – One of the most iconic and ancient buildings in London, it was built by William the Conqueror in 1078, and was lived in up until the Tudor period, where it gained a reputation as a forbidding and grim prison. It is also the home of the Crown Jewels. As such it is probably the most popular tourist attraction in the city.
The Globe Theatre – Sadly the original Globe was damaged over the years, but it was restored more or less in the same spot it originally stood, to look exactly as it would have back in the days when Shakespeare wrote and performed his plays. You can even watch a Shakespearean play there too, to feel firmly involved in history.
Rome is the largest and capital city of Italy and well known as the Eternal City. It was once the greatest Empire of the Romans and has a long list attractions for different type of tourists with its spectacular history. So there is no doubt that Rome is the world’s most visited city with its millennium old churches and basilicas, palaces, ruins, ornate statues, opulent monuments and fountain.
