Travel Guide: Things to Do in Bali

I want to be able to travel to as many wonderful places as possible. But since my husband was the one planning our trip, that’s quite impossible. However, if given the chance, I would like to go to Bali, Indonesia.

Bali is a small island in Indonesia and considered as the largest tourist destination in the country. One of the popular tourist attractions is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a cool and dense swathe of jungle which houses three holy temples. It is inhabited by gray-haired and long-tailed Balinese macaques (monkeys). The Pura Dalem Agung (Temple of the Dead) is also in the forest. Tourists can visit the Bali Safari and Marine Park which houses a variety of wildlife animals. Watching the elephant talent shows and riding on the safari bus is a must like visiting Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most important sea temples that stand on top of a rock surrounded by the sea.

  • Museum Le Mayeur, a museum containing Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur’s work as well as his collection of traditional Balinese art and local artifacts.
  • Swimming, surfing and diving at Kuta Beach

When you travel to Bali be sure to pack one of the most important gadget of a traveler, a digital camera.
